The keris is not the issue here la dude. Keris symbolizes "Keagungan & Ketuanan. At least he did apologize, you can't say is not genuine. Let's just see what happens after this. Actions always speaks louder than words.

Yes, I agree unsheathing the Keris is not the issue, the issue is HOW HE THREATEN TO USE IT. You are being spinned by MSM that we are'offended' because of the Keris. Another idiot did the same way earlier and promised to 'bath it in some races' blood'. Both of them should be cited for tainting a righteous symbol, the Keris.

You are right, words, apologies and promises from a politician means nothing if it's not back with actions, but this is one action we do not condone: intimidating fellow Malaysians with a weapon, hence our loud and clear message to this 2 buffoons.

my dearest mob, we as humans do not know whether a person is truly sincere or not regarding what we say, or what we even do. It is only God who truly knows. But the best he did is apologize, and we will see from his actions in the future and we can truly see whther he is indeed sincere or not. Sometimes we just need another chance to do that, and why not let hisham proof himself.

He is in power(as Youth Head) for so long, do you not think he has every day for the rest of his pathetic life to do so and what a screw up a simple apology turns out to be! It was never intended as an 'apology'.

Now here's the predicament: His real apology is Malays that his failure to uphold the Malay symbol sebab we, non-Malays are 'offended'. Isn't this an incitement to put the blame on fellow Malaysians?!

Please do not sympathise with a Opportunist like Kerismuddin, it's his arrogance to acknowledge we, the rakyat can see through his ploy of using the Racial Card, classic Barisan Najis tactics which pits fellow Malaysians against Malaysians. Please analyse deeper why he gave these 2 apologies at the same time,(a half-ass apology to the non-Malays) and a sincere apology to Malays (for failure to 'uphold' the Malay symbol).

Nothing is coincidental, friends.

i suggest the benefit of the doubt. "it was never intended as an apology" lets not make assumptions here. i'm not sympathising him, nor am i being ignorant towards his mistakes. he has screwed up but he has apologized. think about it, if a man is truly sorry, how would he undo his mistakes? naturally, an apology. if we keep twisting him at the neck and claim that his apology is full on fake, then he really cannot do anyhthing if he really was truly sorry.

what i'm saying is, give the man some time. let him rectify. let him prove himself clean. if he screws up again then by all means stab him in the eye. :)

well, we'll just wait and see whether he truly means his apology or not. Who are we to judge anyway. We're only humans to make mistakes.

If he truly means it, he would had worded them in a totally different manner. NOT in this insincere, "if by any very small chance that i do wrong, sorry, and sorry for not holding keris up in future to threaten fellow Malaysians."

Thats why, we don't need time to tell, apology NOT accepted. Do it properly if you can actually do it at all.

Personally, I agree with Sorindian. It was truly a weak apology, and it is - to me at least - not accepted.

An apology - a sincere one at least - should not be tainted by arrogance, but by humility.

An apology should be made with a realization of the mistake made, and not merely as a convenient tool.

And an apology shouldn't be made 3 years after the fact, and only then when his back is against the wall.

In regards to the poster, yeah, I'd like to offer my apologies to BN as well if they feel slighted that I voted against them.

I'd like to apologize for being tired of the repression, the lies, the corruption, the abuses, the manipulation, etc.

So sorry...I guess I'm ungrateful that way ;)
